CORPORATE EMERGENCY PLANNING – BELGIUM
CASE STUDIES

Britrisk International, on behalf of a European petroleum group of companies operating within the oil production, refining, storage, trading and petroleum retail sector,, was retained to undertake a Status Review and Gap Analysis of the Group’s risk management and emergency response capabilities at its 5 European operating companies, including their refinery in Belgium.
Operating on three continents, with drilling rights within the former Soviet Union territories, refining capabilities in Europe and the Caribbean and a global distribution capability, the Group required that a corporate emergency plan infrastructure be designed to ensure that senior management, based in Europe, were in a position to maintain executive control of any major incident occurring at its locations or elsewhere whilst it retained ownership of product in transit.
